Correcting the data error on updateing LoanVision 2 to LoanVision 3

Several of our existing users have encountered a data error when updating LoanVision 2 to LoanVision 3.  It is easy to fix by doing some maintenance in your old LoanVision 2 installation.  Here's a step by step procedure:

1. Start your old copy of LoanVision 2.
2. Click on the File menu and select Archives.
3. In Archives, click on the Check Data File button.
4. Select the file "setup.df1" in the Change Data File dialog and click on OK button.
5. In the Check Data File window, scroll down the list of tables on the left and select "Last loan num".
6. Select "Reindex" in the Operations area and click on Start.
7. When complete, select "Last loan num" again.
8. Select "Reorganize" in the Operations area and click on Start.
9. When complete, click on the Cancel button, Click on "Exit Archives" and then Quit LoanVision.
10. Copy the repaired setup.df1 file from your old LoanVision 2 folder to the new LoanVision3 folder, start LoanVision 3, and let the conversion run again.  It should complete correctly this time.
    

Note: in some locations the error shows up in the Loanvisi.df1 file as well. If you get this error when updating that file run the above procedure on loanvisi.df1 too.
