Printing error when trying to print: error when executing PRTbase/27

LoanVision has a feature that automatically does page setups for you when you are ready to print a document or set of documents. The above error occurs when LoanVision hasn't been told how to print on your printer. It is necessary to do this because each type of printer has a unique set of controls (parameters) that must be sent to set it up to print (for example) legal sized paper, portrait orientation, from the bottom tray.

With the automatic page setups, you can control precisely how each type of page is printed. Here's how to do it:

• Click on the Setup Printer option on the File menu;
• In the Set Report Destination dialog, make sure Printer is selected and click on the OK button;
• In the Set Printer Name dialog, select the printer you want to set up and click on the OK button;
• In the "Available Printers in PtrBASE" select the printer you want to set up now and click on the Edit button;
• A window will open that lists the different page size and orientation combination that LoanVision can use. Do the following for each one:
  
  • Double click on the page type (i.e., "Letter Portrait");
  • Click on the Page Setup button in the "Parameters for Report" dialog;
  • In the Page Setup window, select the options exactly as if you were printing that type of page right now. In other words, if you double clicked on the Letter Portrait page type, select "Letter" for the page size, "Portrait" for the orientation, and then select which tray that page size will be drawn from in your printer. Then click on the OK or Print button in the Page Setup dialog, then the OK button in the Parameters for Report window. That will save your settings.

When you are finished with all of the page types, click on the OK button of the Printer Base window. From this point on, while you are using that printer, LoanVision will use the settings you just saved for each print job.
